Formed in 2019, our Board of Advisors brings together a select group of influencers with the President and Senior Leadership of Worldgate to make recommendations on how Worldgate can continually improve its processes while increasing profitable revenue and making a positive impact in the industries and for the clients we serve.

Our board has been carefully selected to offer the following for our clients, partners and employees:

Pat DiLella

Pat DiLella has had a successful career implementing systems and leading high functioning development and deployment teams assigned to updating technology, technology functionality and streamlining processes for both commercial and public sector industries. She has been a longtime supporter of Worldgate’ leadership. In the late 90’s Ms. Dilella even employed Scott Montgomery to support her role in delivering automation to billing and provisioning systems for Verizon’s (back then Bell Atlantic) large business customers and account management teams. Today she serves Worldgate’s K-12 school district clients as a Project Manager, currently implementing a Visitor Management System across 250+ schools in a very large urban school district.

Ms. DiLella holds an MS from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA in Organization Management & Training as well as a BS from St. Joseph’s in Business Management.

In addition to her passion of organizational management and technology advancements, Ms. DiLella spends as much time as she can with her family, enjoying the theatre, especially Broadway, in New York City with her two sons. She is also an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Jimmy Olevson

Jimmy Olevson has 20 years of experience in commercial banking with a focus on Commercial and Industrial (C&I) lending and is the Chief Lending Officer with MainStreet Bank. He manages MainStreet’s team of commercial lenders with a focus of integrating the strong core lending team with a team of up-and-comers in order to maximize market penetration for MainStreet.

Mr. Olevson has strong roots in the community. He is a past President of the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department and current Firefighter/EMT, Past President of the Rotary Club of Ashburn and has been voted to the “Top 40 under 40” by the Loudoun Times Mirror. Additionally, he is a member of the Washington DC Almas Shrine and Scottish Rite. Mr. Olevson is married to Shauna, who is a music teacher within Loudoun County Public Schools while also serving as a volunteer EMT and children’s choir director at their local Church. Shauna and Jimmy have two daughters; CaseyJane who is five and Kennedy who is eighteen months.

Debbie Karcher

Debbie Karcher is an accomplished and creative IT executive who recently retired as Chief Information Officer from Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), the fourth-largest school district in the US. During her 15-year tenure with M-DCPS, Ms. Karcher managed information technology operations and a network infrastructure for more than 37,000 employees and 340,000 students and led the District's IT strategic vision and long-range planning.

Currently, as a K12 Education Technology Advisor, Ms. Karcher utilizes her diverse experience and understanding of current and future IT trends, as well as her proven ability revitalizing district operations through the implementation of enterprise systems, to direct information technology strategy for leading K12 edtech companies. Debbie is extremely interested in supporting public school education and is looking forward to supporting Worldgate’s endeavor to be the best in the industry.

Ms. Karcher lives in Miami, Florida where she is enjoying parenting her 6-week-old goldendoodle puppies and taking long walks on the beach soaking up the salt air and the solitude of reflection and positivity.

Marian O’Leary

Marian is a naturalized USA citizen who became the first of her family to immigrate to the United States from Ireland in 1987.

She is an Instrument Physics graduate from the Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland and has spent thirty years as a sales and business development executive in the global corporate space, representing technology giants like Apple Computer; Hewlett Packard; Microsoft and DellEMC. Marian also spent time as the Chief Business Development Officer with the Global Center for College and Career readiness.

Marian is an advocate of lifelong learning. She is passionate about education and is understanding first hand that it is the key driver to economic success. Her career as an executive and thought leader with these corporations have informed her approach to community development, building partnerships between private foundations, public school organizations and business.
